1,why there is huge sound while operating air break circuit breakers

2why d.c is given to relays

3why reactors are conected in substation

1. There isn't unless you are talking about circuit breakers employing compressed air to blow the arc out when the breaker opens under load.

2. World standard + safer than 110V or 230V AC.

3. Because a substation needs a little inductance to work properly.

Reactors also used to limit fault current flow wherever required.
