Distance Measuring Sensor. Where to get them?

12/10/2006 9:05 AM

Hello

I am looking for distance sensors, IR and ultrasound type, low cost for education.

Sharp GP2Y0A21YK or better IR sensor

40KHz or near frequency low cost ultrasound sensors

I may require 100 numbers in each sensors for my class.

At a cost of $9.96 USD each for a quantity of 100, you've probably got your best choice already.

Because its for educational use, have you contacted any mfg and asked about a donation?
