PCBs Schematics

can someone plz help me.

i am studying elec engineering nvq3 so im still new to quite alot.

i am trying to make my own obd2 scanner and i dont understand where the +5 and Vbat signs go on the schematic.

i also was wondering if the thick black lines are ground on the PCB

click on the sites links to veiw the schematic and layout

After some time trying to understand your question, as well as conjuring up what you know and failed to explicitly tell us, I think I have an answer for you.

The Vbat connects to the automobile's battery (e. g. 12 VDC). The 7805 voltage regulator provides +5 VDC from the auto's +12 VDC for all IC's that need it. All +5's and all Vbat's are connected together on the circuit board.
