Bolts for Motor Operated Valves (MOV)

08/05/2009 6:47 AM

All,

Through Bolt vs Normal Bolts on both sides of valve. This is regarding MOV.

Whether all wafer type Motor Operated Valves (MOV) require through bolt option.

Thanks

As some wafer valves are supported between flanges, the answer is 'no'.

As you said some wafer type MOV needs normal bolts on both sides of valve. Can you please send details so that one can distinguish?

All wafer type MOV do not require through bolts is Project specific statement or a Standard statement?

Thanks
