Hi

This is in context of Centrifugal Pump Impeller design. I have been told that Cast Iron can be used upto 680 mm Impeller diaat 1460 rpm. Similarly Bronze has the limitations.

Please guide me if it hold good or not.

Regards

Mahipal

Which pump company do you work for? If you are asking for design help, I do not want to buy pumps from your company.

If you are trying to cast a repair impeller for an existing pump, please don't. Find some way to obtain a replacement impeller from a reputable company who will back the safety of there product. Or hire an competent engineer in rotating element design to coach you and carefully advise your design approach.
