"vaccume pump trip due to overload"

Solution: find, and remove, cause of overload!

There, an answer commensurate to the question!

The best way to overload a vacuum pump is to give it too much work to do. By throttling the flowrate, the load on the pump will be reduced, the motor won't have to work so hard, and the excursion into overload conditions may never happen.
