Choosing a Test Chamber Material

08/12/2009 8:12 AM

What material can I use to isolate a test chamber that will run from -70°C to + 150°C?

Chamber is in ambient temperature from 18 to 23 °C

Chamber Free volumen is 700 x 900 x 300 mm.

Thanks in advance

Thermally isolate? Oh, any insulating material from rockwool to aerogels, really. Either that or maintain a high vacuum between the inner casing and an outer one (example: the "Thermos" vacuum flask).

Yes thermall isolating.

That is the main fact , not to have a high vacuum.

During my development work to meet MIL standard 883 we build separation wall using stainless steel double wall filled with glass fiber wool and then pulled vacuum and sealed. The furnace was well mainatined
