SCF Pipe Fittings

What is an "SCF" Pipe Fitting?

I have seen this many times and cannot find the meaning of this acronym........

Is it a misprint for SCR, meaning, screwed or threaded?

It apparently means something else.

I have googled and found nothing.

SCF is Split Collar Fitting.
