Sheet Metal Flat Blank Calculations

Does a means exist for claculating the data required for sheet metal flat blanking; one that calculates BA, K Factor, Setback, Inside Material Radius, tonnage, hem material, just about all the important stuff. Oh yes, it must cost under $1,000 US

Sitting in the sun in California, scratching my head in frustration.

Don't forget one of the "Must Have" books, Machinery's Handbook.

All you need is a calculator or use an excell spreadsheet. Heck, even a sliderule would work.

So, what sources have you looked up?

I had a teacher in high school that could use a slide rule faster than the students could use their calculators. Every year he had to prove it to the newer students. They couldn't believe it was possible. Guess its like any tool the more you use it the better you are at using it. I still have one buried in my piles of stuff someplace. Doubt my kids would have any idea what it is if they saw it.
