Both are equal - for Del .

Do cats ice cream or the others scream when cats eyes the cream ? .

I read about this protein, long back/ rather saw it on animal planet- and no not about fishes (i still not sure about this fishy business, I always thought the water even saline, in the antarctic are not so cold, with all the currents flowing through and the insulating ice on the top.

It was about some Canadian frogs that hibernate and that has this protein. It was shown with infra-red camera and the body temperature was sub-zero.

But then if one knows that it is a frog protein then the Uni lever may have problem, better to call it fish protein .

Fish or frog, can a vegan eat any proteins derived from a animal DNA even if it is replicated in yeast?

Y'all think YOU'VE seen it all!

I had a good laugh when I read a scifi novel (Larry Niven .. always excellent!) in which an intelligent extraterrestrial tiger creature (Kzinti) loved tuna ice cream and was wondering why his race had never invented anything like it. Gave a new meaning to the word 'gag' in my mind, it did.

Much later, I saw it ... the impossible ... with my own eyes. In Japan, they have OCTOPUS ice cream. Gaaaaaaaak!

So, what do fish and ice cream have in common? More than you think .. :-S

DZ

P.S. When in East Asia, ask if the milk or ice cream came from an animal that went moo, beeeeeh!, or baaaaaah. Play safe ...

Some of the stuff they like to eat in Japan is very interesting to say the least. My oldest son is into ANYTHING Japanese. We try to buy him a bunch of Japanese snack foods for his b-day every year. So I knew all about the Octopus Ice Cream. Even he wouldn't try that stuff. Some of their products are pretty good but most I would never try again. But then again they probably would think eating some of our snack foods in the US are disgusting.

This article touched on preventing cellular damage to donar organs for transplant.

Too bad for Walt Disney.

Does this discovery mean we might one day be able to take a pill that will prevent frostbite?
