Contact the piping suppliers and ask for their current specifications. Then spec the material around that. Unless you've got a lot of money, no supplier is going to do a custom run for you. And, you do not seem to posses the knowledge to specify the proper material yourself. (No offense intended)

So, work with the suppliers and come to an agreement as to what material in their inventory will perform to your eventual spec. Once you come to an agreement, then write the spec.

The larger your potential order, the more the cooperation will be.

At this pressure and temperature, you might be happier with HDPE pipe rather than metal pipe...

If you are looking for technical papers as they relate to shipboard systems, try ASTM F1155-98 and USCG NVIC 11-86.

thanks for your replies I belive I should have made this a more specific.

okay here it is to be specific

I have a case in my P&ID where I find a spec break of 90/10 Cu-Ni to CS flange connection.I have been advised to use insulation kit between the two mating flanges which I find a little out of reasoning.I suggested the use of a sacrificial spool between the two but could not fully back my suggestion technically when questioned.

Could any one of you guys share your knowledge related to this on the use of sacrificial spool on Cu-Ni related spec break case during you experience.

Thanks again in advance for your replies and time.
