As from your previous post you call yourself an 'Electrical Engineer' I would hope that you would either know the answer to this question or at the very least be able to find it on the internet yourself.

Your question is just far too broad to answer. 3 phase industrial motors come in a very wide range of power and supply voltage ratings (each requiring a different cable size, type, etc) and the cable types, sheaths, armouring, temperature rating, de-rating factors, etc will depend on the specific motor application and environment. The possible number of cable combinations and sizes is absolutely enormous.

Please see previous threads on CR4 covering this and similar topics, or just go to the numerous cable manufacturer websites and copy down virtually all their cable data sheets and application data and asses which cable will be suitable an a case by case basis.

If you want a more detailed answer then please clarify your question more. What exactly do you want?

The Motor used is having folowing data:

3 phase AC SQ 380V Delta 40KW 73 A, p.f.=0.82, 1460 RPM, 50 Hz

Type: 1P10BV4 NBT

I suppose 25 mm2 would be fit for the given data or may be 35 mm2 but not sure which one is best suited.

Distance of MCC from Motor is about 55 meters.

Since you have the cable sizes of 25 mm2 and 35 mm2, then what will be the maximum current carrying capacity of these cables?

This type of question has been answered many times before on CR4 (including formulas, guides and links). Use the search function on the right hand side of the screen.

Easy. Buy a copy of British Standard 7671. Every EE should have one!
