translation freelance job

09/12/2009 1:37 PM

Dear All,

This is the second time I launch a subject of translation. Sorry for my insistance!

I'm recently thirsty of doing some part time job to meet my end, and I do be confident in my English-Chinese and Chinese-English translation ability in Electric area, shuch as certificate, installation, manual, etc.. If there is anybody who has such an requirement, pls. contact me. I can translate a small piece for you as a test for free.

Thank you very much!

Rgds.

I don't mean to offend you, but, "I'm recently thirsty of doing some part time job to meet my end" is nonsensical and a very poor sentence, if you are trying to communicate in English.

People like you are the reason people like me are always wondering what the idiot who translated/wrote the manual was thinking?

"I do be confident', that you will not get a job from your post.

And finally, why didn't you use the spell checker?

Sorry, I did make a mistake. What I mean is not meet my end but meet my need.

Anyway, you can't judge by translation ability just from this post. Person who

translate as a task won't do it like he gives a free post here.

I do apologize for this mistake.

Regds.

"I am available to translate English to Chinese, or Chinese to English. My area of expertise is in Electrical Engineering."

Ani-Luo, I hope this bit of rewrite is of some aid to you.

Would not the ability to, "translate English to Chinese" imply that you have the ability to translate Chinese to English.

I'm sorry, this person is lacking the basics.

Hi,

If you take that a person who can translate English to Chinese just as well as translate Chinese to English, then you are completely wrong, because the translator can't have the absolutlely same ability in the two languages.

If you don't believe in it, just have an internet survey and you will get it. It's quite easy.

Write to lichi@lichi.co.il or similar in Israel. There is a real demand here for technical translation which you can take advantage of, even if your English is not perfect.

In translation work, post-production proofing will render your bulk of translation into a seamless, clear, concise document. Not to worry
