User Group DIY Welding Blog, Content poll

09/27/2009 11:57 AM

Andy is starting a blog as I understand it

& has asked for opinions as to the potential content of the blog?

Which section will it be in?

Would anyone else like to start a blog?

We can of course any of us start a thread about most anything at any time, so imposing a bunch of structure is probably pointless...

Now if there were to be an entire section devoted to the joining of materials using heat that might be a bit of a different story

I think it should be a stand-alone section. Because it relates to almost all sections, it would be difficult to direct it to the appropriate section.

Great! I look forward to it being myself a novice welder. Don't forget to cover brazing, cutting, and annealing.

The problem I see is the redundancy thats is going to happen, or important issues that may be bury in one section but is not shared or open to others unless stumbled across.

I think welding should have its own section and the other sections that use it link to it.......

btw, here's a good video on welding taken from a section.
