i want to use it as a Pump Start relay connected to my DOL starter. A electronic timer will start it on the other end of the relay.

Boy. you sure doesn't know how to read the relay specification.

"DTN TYPE TLY2, its 10A AC250V/DC28V other marking are TLY2 24LT AC24V"

Your relay is 8 pin relay and the relay coil is rated at 24Vac. The capacity of the relay contact can handle maximum 10 ampere at 250Vac load or at 10 DC ampere at 28Vdc load.

Correct me if I am wrong.

How do you want this relay connected to your DOL Starter?. And what do you want this relay to do for you?.

This relay is for control and other small signal to used. It cannot drive a motor with high current. Maybe if you can tell us more about your problem, perhaps we can assist you on your problem.
