	GA to you all I would have been able to tell him is a chain driven sport bike can go about 250mph on the right bike but no idea as to what that would transfer to in chain speed. __________________ If necessity is the mother of invention then is laziness the mother of necessity?

	The drive gear on the pedal axle of a bicycle does about 75-90rpm maximum depending on the operator. The speed of the chain increases with increasing gear diameter. The diameter of the gear wheel is related to the chain link pitch and the number of teeth per gear-wheel. The rest is arithmetic.
