6VDC Biometric Sensor

Is there a commercially available biometric sensor that runs on 6v. d.c.?

I see from the dialogue box on the left that there have been 7 posts; for some unknown reason, I haven't been able to read any of them. I do, however, thank you all for your efforts. I have found the sensor that fits my requirements: Fujitsu make one, called the MBF110, I think. Again, many thanks to all who took the time to write, I am very grateful.
