Live link to NASA launch of Ares rocket.

Update - they stopped the launch at -00:02:39, a cloud got in the way.

Update - they're going to try again in 5 minutes.

Update - don't hold your breath - they're going to wait about 50 minutes cause they think the cloud will clear. Holding at T - 4 minutes.

Have you ever seen what happens when a rocket impacts a flubber cloud... it's too terrible to risk!

Maybe it's a sell thing: If you can't get a good video all the way up, along with the patriotic music in the background and sportscaster commentary, the less dramatic the effect.

Loik the accent!

The problem is we don't know if it's a regular Amerycan cloud or an Italian "solid" cloud like in Super Mario Bros.

Update - too windy & cloudy & the Learjet with the down-range camera (AKA Video 1) ran out of fuel.

Trying again tomorrow. If they're not ready, you can start without them.

Downdate - spell checker's gorn orf again.

STRANGE, BUT I DIDN'T NOTICE ANY UFO'S BUZZING AROUND THE ROCKET ON THIS LAUNCH LIKE SOME OF THE SHUTTLE LAUNCHES....... MAYBE A SLOW-MOTION HD PLAYBACK OF THE VIDEOTAPE WILL REVEAL ONE???? OR IT COULD BE THAT THE ALIENS FINALLY ARE BORED OUT OF THEIR MINDS IN REGARDS TO OUR SPACE CRAFT OR FOUND SOMETHING ELSE TO MONITOR, LIKE DEL'S SPACE KITTY????
