smoke detectors

can anyone tell me the smoke detectors installed in the control room are connected in series or in parellel to the smoke detection panel

I would have thought they would be in parallel! If you consider that each one is just a switch, if they were in series, if one switch closes, the circuit would not change until all were closed! In parallel, if one switch closes it activates the circuit! But, saying that I would read the instructions that came with the detectors and use there installation guide!

I would be obliged if u can exactly let me know , since i have a confusion still weather it is in series or in parellel , sum say it is series and sum say its parallel

Ignore them. What does the equipment manufacturer's installation manual say?

RTFB! (Read the flippin' book)

They are smoke detectors, they are essential safety items, don't take a chance, check with the manufacturer.

If they are two wire devices they can only be in parrallel (as per Mr Truman)

If they are 3 wire I think you will find that the supply is parrallel and the switches are series. this allows monitoring of the alarm circuit with an EOL (end of line) resistor.
