Compressor and 60A Circuit Breaker

I got a compressor 220VAC, 50/60HZ, 5.575KW 3PH

rated FL/LR Current 20/82 A

Primary 208 VAC, 60A Breaker with disconect and fuse protect, in fact this line fed or on 2 units with the same rating current.

What it is happening from the disconnect to the unit has a 10/4 so cord with tuist lock connenctor and start melted one leg on each unit

guest; are you starting compressor with head pressure on it , or loose connection at plug/receptacle pinky

You need to increase wire size to probably a #6....the circuit breaker has to be sized for the wire...
