I want to know a method to estimate the electric power consumption per kg of sodium hypochlorite in process of brine electrolysis as a function of Hypochlorite concentration (ppm). Also during the process how much temperature rise will occur.
If we can guess the efficincy of the system as a function of ppm resulting, then the portion of consumed power caues to warming up the brine solution will be determined. Then we can calcute the temperature rise from the enrgy balance equation:
