Try Google. If you're an engineer, it should be pretty easy to figure out the keywords ...

Hi Sumitro,

The 5/2 or 5/3 Pneumatic valves are showing the identical Soleniod Valve

5/2 means that the Solenoid valve has 5 ports and 2 positions, and

5/3 means that the Solenoid valve has 5 ports and 3 positions..

about the diaghram there are some samples drawing in pdf...

Regards,

SG

1. Refer to Sperry-Vickers products catalogue; they are hydraulic-pneumatic makers.

Otherwise, What does that valve tag show ?

Well, the valve tag might already have that diagram you are looking for.

2. 5/2 = 5-way 2-position ?

3. 5/3 = 5-way 3-position ?

4. How is that pneumatic valve actuated ?

5. Manual-Operator ? Pilot-Activated ? Spring-Centred ?

6. Regards.

Well, the manufacturer's name of these valves has been withheld from the forum, which is one problem. For information about the valves themselves this is the obvious direction, and an assumption is being made that there is at least a telephone available at the facility.

As far as the second problem, what the valves are supposed to be doing, there will be a Control Philosophy document to illustrate the principles involved in operating the [whatever] equipment in which these <...5/2 and 5/3 pneumatic valves...> are installed. Also, there will be as-commissioned records to hand, which may well include a schematic of the pneumatic installation in question. Those documents cannot be seen from here.

So, fundamentally, CR4 is the wrong place to look.
