Output Choke in Drives

will there be harmonics devoloped in the output side of a variable frequency drive. if devoloped will it affect the output choke and make noise

danfoss people claims that thier vlt drive produces no harmonics in output side of drive and there is no reqiurement for output choke its that ture!!!
