Hint: it isn't just the difference in misspellings. There is a recent CR4 thread that explains enthalpy. That's the easier one. One of the best explanations of entropy I have encountered is Peter W. Atkins's "The Second Law." If memory serves, this was part of the Life (magazine) Library of Science many years ago.

Yes. Wikipedia can. There are pages on both topics.

Definition of enthalpy is obtained by the application of the First Law of Thermodynamics to a thermodynamic process. Its unit is kJ/kg. Definition of entropy is obtained by the application of second law of thermodynamics to a thermodynamic process. Its unit is kJ/kg K .I am of the personal opinion that an engineer has to understand the true definition of entopy, emf, inertia and enthalpy to understand the basic sciences behind the technology. This is, usually, taught in first year in the college or in the last year in school.

It is easy to make a physic-mathematical definition of enthalpy and of entropy.

But to explain the conception, in a way that it is understandable to people having a medium level scientific formation is not so easy.

I would not dare to do it.
