Sounds like homework but I'll bite. Think about what items have 2 stroke engines. What makes them more desireable than standard 4 stroke. How easy are they to start or maintain? Do they need additional cooling? What's the power curve on a 2 stroke versus a 4 stroke? Does the briiiingdingdiingdiiing noise of a 2 stroke make no nevermind. I'd rather use a 2 stroke chain saw than a 4 stroke for overhead work. Any ideas why?

Research !!!!

One of the biggest advantages of 2-strokes is you can run them at any angle, upside-down included.

4-strokes don't like running upside down because of the crank/pan oil

As has been noted, the two stroke can be used at any angle. When's the last time you saw a four stroke chain saw. I imagine that manufacturing costs are reduced as well because they have fewer parts.
