Varistors

i have a component looks like varistor it is labeled 75l20. i am asking how to its data?

and can i replace it by 150l10?

I don't recognize the number, but I'd guess it's probably 75L20. The first number is the voltage (likely rms) and the second is the energy (and probably refers to some scaled value of J). If that's the case, 150 won't protect in place of 75 and 10 isn't as much protection as 20. Do a VI trace on it and you'll know what you've got. But, varistors are cheap; buy one that's got the characteristics you need.

sorry i forgot to say that 75l20 is on 220V input
