RS 232 Converter and ADSL Modem

There are cheap RS232 to USB converters available all around. It could be used to connect a RS232 printer to the USB port on the ADSL.

i have a controller only come with rs 232 com port. and now i need the controller to link up to pc at my office which is distance away. so now i have a adsl telco line. it's ok ?

HI sir,

THe solution you need is to purchase an ETHERNET to RS232 adapter and then to connect the Ethernet to you existing network which is usually the output of the ADSL router. Once you do this, you should get into the ADSL router and configure the game application inside of it in order to forward all the requests coming on your adsl connection to the internal LAN IP of your Ethernet to RS232 adapter.
