12/12/2009 11:35 AM

Hi everyone, i would like to know whether a darlington amplifier is suitable to amplify the power of a signal which is 150khz?

Probably a darlington transistor configuration can operate at 150khz. I would expect that most would work quite well at this low of a frequency. I would also expect that many darlington circuits will fail to drive this frequency from a lack of understanding by a designer of the higher Miller effect capacitance a darlington transistor pair contains. So without knowing anything more about your circuit requirements than a choice of topology, your answer can be a yes or a no.

You can also use Sziklai pair (or Sziklai Darlington), it's faster.
