What is the Trance?

01/16/2007 2:56 AM

Hi,

during the selection of steel for design and make some equipments, I saw some steel that people said it is trance steel in market.

I want to know the No of this steel and if it has equal no (DIN) or not?

Thank you.

Do you have an example of a supplier of "trance steel"? That's new one to me too.

On a hunch, I tried typing "trans steel" in google and got 569 hits. The closest I could find was a software program (http://www.transdata.com.au/docs/transsteel.php) and model or brand for a truck. Another one is trans steel tumbler, which looks like a steel-like plastic tumbler. Not what you're looking for I'm sure but it's the best I could come up with.

I also typed "trance steel" but got 19 hits of strange sites. 'Couldn't make sense of them.

Perhaps you heard wrong?
