01/16/2007 4:04 AM

For my project to mold a pair of clips working on a heat surface as higher as 200 degrees, I want to know which material can do it with no deformation and durable.

A thermosetting resin would probably do fine. I believe there are also vendors who offer high temperature two part epoxy resins. Try searching on google.

You can use Polyimide at these temperatures.

Usually this is a thermoset chemistry but there is also a thermoplastic variant if you need injection molding or extrusion.

Take a look at AURUM from Mitsui Chemicals: http://www.aurumtpi.com/

Hello lkkanthony,

This company has a range of resin products which may meet your needs, depending on whether "200 degrees" means 200° F or 200° C.
