I have a requirement for a soft foam which is to be fitted on a part. The part is heated to a temperature of 200deg. so if any body knows any type of foam which can act as a foam even after heated upto 200deg then please reply.

Most foam material will withstand a mere 200 degrees with out problem....

Now the question is what units are you using? Centigrade (Celcius), Farenheit, Kelvin, Rankine etc...

You can try high temperature silicone sponge if it will meet your requirements. It can handle temperatures up to 700°F.

Dilbert (nice id!) are you assuming the questioner is talking about degrees Farenheit?

zotefoams has nylon foams capable of sustaining 210C for 24 hours, 130C for continuous use. They are semi-rigid but thermoformable.
