Hi Josh79, welcome to CR4.

As to your question, a "250A low voltage panel" could be anything from a switch disconnector & a fuse to dozens of components (MCCBs, RCDs, contactors, ...).

Without knowing more about your requirements no-one can answer your question.

hi josh,

it happened that days ago my friend ask for a 250A panel that he needs for working at one of his projects, & based on his lack of knowledge on what the system are for and the safety reasons etc..., he just ask me to supply a very simple panel that consists only a MCCB that wired to busbars in which all loads such as welding & drilling machines, grinders and so forth to be connected to.

regardless to whatever code of standards are saying (because sometimes people don't comply), of course this is not right since every loads should have its own protection and yes in other to keep service of continuity he cannot use just that.

in other words, because you question is quite the same with the case herewith components & materials used for the panel supplied.

1 ea 80 X 60 X 25cm c/w busbars, wiring & accessories (such as control fuse,pilot lamps etc)

1 ea 250A/3P MCCB for incoming

12 ea various amperage 3 phase MCBs to be connected to outgoing loads.

that simple ,just with minimum extra more money everybody happy...tq

Can the job be subbed-out to a specialist that can quote for and build it in accordance with local wiring regulations? There is enough of a specification there to open intial discussions with suppliers, for instance.
