Hello.. Does anyone know what is the role of the magnet in a sound speaker. Or what is the fundamental mechanism of a electrical speaker.

The speaker coil is an electromagnet that alternates polarity as the sound signal is applied. The stationary permanent magnet is what the coil pushes/pulls against. The speaker cone or dome is attached to the coil. As it moves back and forth, it in turn imparts motion to the surrounding air.
