What are you talking about? Is there a question in there somewhere?

A rectifier is an electrical device that converts alternating current to direct current. These days most rectifiers are constructed of solid state devices called diodes. In the past vaccuum tubes were used. Half wave rectification is accomplished with two diodes and creates pulsed DC, whereas full wave rectification requires four devices and creates complete direct current by converting both polarities of the input waveform. Devices that convert DC to AC are called Inverters. Now, what's the question?
