Biofuels for Boilers?

01/11/2010 4:15 PM

What kinds of biofuel (wood chips, sawdust, corn etc.) industrial boilers are available to provide steam for a new manufacturing plant. May want to look into dual fuel with propane. This would be a large operation.

Industrial boilers are manufactured for all types of fuel :solids, liquids & gas.

The more the options are introduced for burning the higher the cost and the complex the firing-system.

Be specific to detail your application as to available of fuel, capacity of boiler and operating pressure.

Boiler is a hardware available in thousands. Have you carried out your research in bio-fuels available? their supply, price factor etc? Suggest you first undertake this to come to your selection of the right type biofuel on which the boiler to be designed.
