PCC / MCC

Hi,

I would likr to know what are the different components used in a PCC and MCC.

Can somebody please help me out in this.

The names fairly well explain them.

An MCC is a number of individual motor starters all powered from the same mains . There are a few types of enclosures (forms), the most popular being form 4 where each starter is contained in its own cubicle (bucket) and withdrawable. Each bucket connected by a network of bus bars. An MCC may also contain power feeders (breakers), which is what a PCC is. The PCC would not usually contain any motor starters and would be purely power distribution.
