	Two (2) reasons: - Safety & Safety If the spring is discharged, the breaker can not operate and energise the circuit accidently. The stored energy in the spring, depending on breaker size will certainly hurt and could break, crush or sever a finger that is in the wrong place at the wrong time during maintenance to testing. __________________ It's all about the Boom! - MythBusters
