cc is a volume of displacement. Horsepower is a measurement of energy output.

Sorry, can't be done. CC is a measure of volume. I have a 1500 cc engine. 1500 cc is a fixed value.

Horsepower is a measure of, well, power. It is somewhat independent of engine displacement. A 1500 cc engine may produce 50 HP or 150HP depending on many variables.

That's enough for now.

RAC Horsepower is bore (in) squared times number of cylinders over 2.5. This does not relate exactly to cc as the stroke is not included in the formula. This system has probably not been used since the issue of petrol coupons in about 1971.

power = torque X speed

displacement = constant volume

See the problem? How many apples does it take to make an orange?
