a simple question

if i insert my charger into the socket without connecting it to the phone, and the switch is on..so is it that my charger will damage?

No, but it will probably consume a small amount of electricity.

hi, even i thought so, but charger is itself having some circuit completed in it, so due to overvoltage or something it can damage?

While it is very very unlikely that having a powered charger that is then connected to your cell phone will damage either your cell phone or charger, I would not recommend this method if you have an ON/OFF switch as part of the charger. The switch maybe more robustly designed to handle the make and break cycle than the connection between phone and charger.

My charger has no switch. It's plugged in 24/7/365.

Each evening, I plug the energized charger into my phone. This phone is 3 years old and I replaced the original battery about a year ago.

No problems.

I always have told my kids to unlpug their wall cubes to their charger....potential firehazard

Can a 5 horse motor with primary 230 v 1 phase and secondary 3 phase 230v be used as hydro-generator ? Thanks Jerry
