Oil Terminal - Vapor Recovery System

02/10/2010 10:28 AM

Hi,

Does anyone have any information and knowledge to share regarding Vapor Recovery Systems?

Our PM often states that it is a very important part of an Oil Terminal. I do not know much about it so I was hoping for literature or examples that I could learn from.

I was involved with a design of offshore platform with a couple of Loading Arm (Emcowheaton MLA) and now I need to learn about Marine Oil Terminals.

Thank you in advance.

Dejan

That was pretty impressive! I have been peripherally involved with some vapor recovery via low-temperature refrigeration (basically just condenses the vapor), but these absorption/adsorption processes appear to be more economical, and more easily scaled to large sizes.
