	What are the possible causes of tripping synchronous hydro electric generator (60MW) with shaft current protection?. Please help me Rgds Byju

	Possibly due to magnetically-induced circulating shaft currents. Try an internet search of "motor shaft current damage" for more information. __________________ jack of all trades
