These two aspects of engineering/management COULD be well integrated, but oftentimes they are not. The imperatives of saving money (especially in the short run)sometimes run counter to doing full design effort (probably better in the long run). If the MBA side of your talents tends too heavily toward "bean counting," you will be at risk of antagonizing the more conscientious designers in your organization.

On the other hand, if you balance these objectives well (no easy task), you can be valuable to both "camps." Just food for thought....

Applicants who hardly look are rarely hired. Instead those that aggresively look have much better success.

There are many of us looking for work at this time and I know from personal experience that it is not an easy time to be looking. My recommendation is to start by telling prospective employers what you can do for them. Assess your skills and traits and sell these as what you can contribute. Be prepared to demonstrate your abilities. One of the questions I always ask during an interview is what issue is the most pressing for them. Listen carefully to the answer and then suggest what you could do to help solve that issue. All of the degrees and education will not prompt employers to come to your door.
