Line-to-Neutral Resistance/Reactance Value of Standard Cable

01/30/2007 11:56 PM

Hello there,

Please, is there a mathematical expression to determine the Line-to-Neutral Resistance/Reactance of a standard cable using a manufacturer information?

This is required for our Short-Circuit & Relay Co-ordination study for 600VAC/480VAC power distribution system.

With regards,

I am not sure what you mean when you say "standard cable". The cable manufacturer should have a spec sheet which gives the capacitance and inductance so you can calculate the capacitive and inductive reactance for the supplied freq. (60 Hz).
