you NEED to be more specific. What is it you are trying to do? Assemble a home computer? Design an embedded sigle board computer?

I think the question is very straight-forward. Why is there a need for more information? The question is: What types of micro-processors are available? Does this mean microprocessors for appliances, embedded devices, real-time applications, supercomputers, and a computer for every child? YES. All of the above, and more. Maybe an open-ended question such as this will allow you to provide us with information about microprocessors that we never would have even thought of. So what's the answer?
