Baseline Restorer - 100MHz

01/31/2007 2:22 PM

Hello Friends

If you have worked with pulse electronics of random events of repeat rate up to 100Mhz, then I am sure you might have known baseline change with piled up events. We can discuss here few new methods that may help to quickly restore the base line to give stability to pulse height discriminator, which is generally used to detect signal from noise.

Applications of such circuits are in

Laser communication

Nuclear event counting

Range finders in fast moving objects

Proximity sensors of faster response time

Environmental sensors

Why do you think it is my contract project and I am looking for your cheap solution? Do you think I will place any sensitive information on the net?

My idea is only to educate the young engineers who otherwise will never look for challenges. It is an opportunity to show up. If you place a question then I will answer, but are you interested in putting some brain wave or simply firing a shot?

I am also looking for some young engineers, to give them some job. Here they can be identified by putting their little inside idea out to find great money waiting for them. It is a search method for talent in the world.

Now either put up your brain to use or sit quite. Do not interfere where engineers are on work as this forum is for engineers. You can do something better.
