Welcome to the forum.

Having said that, this must rate as one of the least clearly worded questions I have seen here. Mini project in what field?

Perhaps squaring a board, or for something more advanced, building a bookcase.

Organizing the family photos?

How about biomechanical tribology? That's really fun.

Sticking a plug on an appliance cable? Oh no. Sorry. That's electrical.

Perhaps that would be a good second or third project, because it integrates mechanical and electrical aspects. Assuming the screw-on type is used, one would get valuable experience in using a screwdriver. That sort of experience always makes a good resume entry that can be worded to fit the desired job:

Technician level:

  • Can use screwdriver.

CEO level:

  • Thought leader and change initiator in project centered around concepts in rotational dynamics, overcoming resistance to change, using helical approach (see also spiral dynamics, integral leadership phoilosphy) to foster linear translation, thus joining disparate elements. In 360 reviews, response was "electric!"

Try creating a mini-me of yourself.

Another good mini project might be to add another engine/transaxle unit to the rear, to get twice the hp and four wheel drive.
