Yes, if the motor voltage matches one of the voltages available in the 3-phase supply. Connecting a 1-phase load to 1 or 2 phases of a 3-phase supply will to some degree imbalance the load among the other phase(s), but if the motor load is small in comparison to other loads on the system, this may be acceptable.

A single phase motor can run on one phase of a three phase supply. (Watch for phase unbalance). A three phase motor will not generally run directly on single phase supply (although a phase converter can be used).

Yes, though an inverter will be needed upstream of it to generate 3-phase from the single phase supply.

YES YOU CAN RUN A THREE PHASE MOTOR ON A SINGLE PHASE SUPPLY.

You will need a capacitor from a flouresent light fitting. this will of set the phase to the motor which will give you a crude 2 phase supply. the motor will run as if one of the phases has dropped out. a bit lumpy.

This is one of the most awful kludges that you could perpetrate on a poor 3-phase motor. It has next-to-no starting torque, the running torque of the motor will be dismal, and the motor will run hot due to the currents drawn.

Hideous, absolutely hideous.
