solar ups are the polar opposites of lunar downs, whatever that means.

It is a wonder why downs go up (examples: North Downs, South Downs), and why High Wycombe is actually the lowest place for many miles in any direction....

Is it just me, or are the majority of posts of late either stupid or dull?

Nope, it isn't just you. I'm doing this deliberately to show the people who post such meaningless questions or comments that by not stating their questions clearly, they are setting themselves up for ridicule.

Spoken like a true dark-side Jedi. I must say, I'm feeling a lot like Darth Maul about this issue!

Cool! Even my ex-master Yoda gets annoyed enough with people asking stupid questions or posting stupid comments to get the urge to turn over to the Dark Side once in a while.

Or this, just in: "i want to improve my drawing reading knowledge i.e surface drawings please send me any drawings to this mail s"

If by UPS you mean what we know as UPS, then I IMAGINE that a solar UPS battery is charged by solar power instead of from a regular power socket. But being cursed with an over-active imagination, let me ask a stupid question. Surely you must have seen a "solar UPS" somewhere. Otherwise why post your question? So why just not walk into that shop and talk about it and get all the information first hand. Would that be so strange ??

Yes, if a secret is known by more than one-then it is not any more considered as a secret.
