please inform how to decide the rating of coupling capacitor in a particuler substation. If possible please give the link of the particuler article (not a series of sites.

Please reconsider before trying this.As you need information then you do not know what you are doing. I assume that you are sending communicatyion signals vai transmission lines? Get an expert and stay alive and protect equipment. Not for an amateur

Listen carefully and forget the idea. You are an amateur and amateurs should not even enter a substation. Whatever they put into HT nowadays has a tendency to kill

I completely agree. I know the OP specifically asked to not be given a google link but watch this you tube video of what can happen with a substation switch.

This is no place for an amateur! You have not given us any pertinent details to even imply that you understand what is going on. So I see two options why you ask for this equation:

1. You wish to work in this dangerous area that you are not qualified to be in. I will not assist suicide.

2. You are asking a homework question. Well there are many very good reasons that a student should do their own homework. I will not repeat them. Do your own homework.
