What are Communicating Chambers (Pressure Vessels)?

Can any one tell what are communicationg chambers (Pressure Vessel) as per ASME section VIII Div 1 .

These would be any chambers within a vessel that have openings or pipes between them that would allow fluid to pass from one chamber to another.

Don't confuse them. The word is "communicationg" chambers.
